Suzi Kochar, MD

Endocrinologist

Originally from Myanmar, Dr. Kochar attended the Institute of Medicine, Mandalay, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. Her postgraduate training began with an internship at the same institution.Dr. Kochar continued her postgraduate training at Lutheran Medical Center, completing a three-year residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. She joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America in September 2015.
During her training, Dr. Kochar also published and presented research and case studies on cardiovascular health, cancer, endocrine system conditions and other health issues. She has volunteered her time and expertise at several hospitals both in the United States and Myanmar.

Licensed to practice medicine by the States of Arizona, Dr. Kochar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society. She is fluent in Burmese, Hindi and Punjabi, and speaks basic Urdu and Mandarin.
